The firm's principal, Perry McConnell, holds the following degrees:

Mr. McConnell has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston LawCenter, teaching pre-trial, trial, and appellate procedure courses and legal writing.  He has served as Associate Director for Appellate Programs at the Law Center'sTrial Advocacy Institute, coaching moot court teams.  (Moot court is a simulated appellate practice, akin to mock trial).  Those teams included:
